Sicily is a delight to behold. Bar Trento isn't just a bar, but a place where you can enjoy simple yet high-quality cuisine. The first and second courses, both meat and fish, are excellent. The staff are courteous and professional, and the atmosphere is welcoming and convivial. Don't miss the granitas; highly recommended for a quick but delicious meal with a good price/quality ratio.

We came to this bar based on the reviews we'd read about their pistachio granita. We woke up after tasting three different granitas, and without a doubt, at least for me, it was the best granita I've ever had on the Catania side of Sicily. The mandarin granita is a must-try (it explodes with flavor, as if you were eating a real fruit). The owner and staff are first-class, and their courtesy in recommending their delicacies is truly remarkable. The bar is centrally located, with plenty of parking if you arrive by car. I recommend also trying the pre-packaged almond pastries, as a gift for friends or as a simple snack while strolling through beautiful Sicily.

Personally, I can't say enough good things about Bar Trento. They offer everything from breakfast/snack to lunch. For lunch (which I've often gotten takeout for lunch at the office), they have a wide selection of first and second courses. I recommend the Venere rice with salmon, avocado, etc.—it's delicious! And if you want a granita that truly tastes of pistachio, this is the place! I've tried both the chocolate and pistachio granitas, and they're both fantastic! The brioches are delicious, and the cereal one was a truly wonderful discovery.
